arrow macrachet wall hanging

After the hustle surrounding the recent release of my Jute and Cotton Bottle Carrier Collection, working on this arrow macrachet wall hanging felt like a vacation for my mind. Making it was quick, easy, and so gratifying!

If you are looking for a relaxing project that you can complete in about an hour, I encourage you to give this wall hanging a try.

Just like with my Rainbow Wall Hanging pattern, you can use any combination of yarn colors and textures. In fact, gauge is completely irrelevant to this project. The arrow macrachet wall hanging pattern will work with any suitable combination of yarn and hook, and you might end up with some amazingly unique textures and effects if you dare to experiment.

I stuck with my favorite combination of jute and cotton, though. I know jute isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, but I simple love working with it. It radiates coziness and comfort.

The pattern for this arrow macrachet wall hanging will be available for free on the blog until July 12, 2021.

After that day, you will be able to find a paid version of the pattern along with a detailed step-by-step photo guide here on jakigu.com, as well as on Etsy.

And if you like this pattern: Yay! I am working on two more complementary designs. If you would like to add them to your pattern collection as soon as they are released, follow me on Instagram or subscribe below to have blog updates sent directly to your inbox.

MODIFICATION

For the above version, use 4 strands of cotton instead of jute for each row. Start with a chain of 14. Then, in row 1, work a single crochet into the bump of each chain (do not chain 2 at the end). Then, in rows 2-5, work a single crochet into the back loop of each stitch from previous row. Finish as instructed. Trim fringe at an angle.
