No man is an island.
As I naturally tend to keep to myself, living up to this quote is a big challenge for me. I am not an out-going extrovert who likes to chat or who makes friends easily. On the contrary.
Yet, a craft like crochet (or bobbin lace) is fundamentally social. A craft gets passed down from one generation to another and improved by exchange of experiences shared among the makers. As I am growing older, not only do I feel like I want to be a part of this exchange, I feel I must.
How can we work together, you may ask? And, to be completely honest, I don’t have an answer. I don’t know you yet. But you may already have a pretty good idea of who I am and what is important to me, through the pages of this blog and the patterns I have published.
If you think your and my aesthetic would make a good match in a project, or your knowledge and experience would make a great addition to my blog, I urge you to leave a message. And we’ll take it from there. Who knows. Your message might be the start of a wonderful, grounds-breaking collaboration or a life-changing friendship.
